Welcome to Elkton Emergency Squad

  The Elkton Emergency Squad is an all volunteer EMS agency providing both BLS and ALS emergency medical care to our response area, which includes the Elkton and McGaheysville Virginia areas, including Massanutten Resort. We also have dual response areas in parts of the Page County and The Skyline Drive.

EES provides mutual aid to areas beyond our response area when needed. In recent years we have responded to more than 2,100 emergency calls.  

EES has two rescue stations. Our main station (RS30) is located on Blue and Gold Drive in Elkton. This station is manned by career personnel from Rockingham County Fire-Rescue, Monday - Friday, 6am-6pm. The career personnel respond to all calls in RS30's call area, as well as providing  assistance to our substation (RS35) and our mutual aid areas as requested. All other times including nights, weekends, and holidays are covered by volunteers from EES.

RS35 is located on Judy Ln in McGaheysville, between Spotswood Trail and McGaheysville Rd. This station is manned 24 hours/7 days a week by career personnel from Rockingham County Fire-Rescue.

When available, volunteers manning RS30's station respond to calls for RS30's response area when career personnel for RS30 are not available, as well as all calls dispatched on nights, weekends, and holidays for RS35's area to assist the career personnel.
